Hey there, fellow pet people! Roger here. You may know me as the co-pilot of Photo Camper, but my real job title? Dog dad to three wiggly pups and human dad to two tiny tornadoes. (Yes, it’s as chaotic as it sounds. No, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.)

So when I saw that July 26 is National Dog Photography Day, my first reaction was: “Amazing!”
My second reaction? “There is ABSOLUTELY no way I’m getting a good photo of this crew unless everyone’s asleep, and even then, it’s a toss-up.”

We don’t currently offer pet photo sessions inside the Photo Camper (yet—never say never!), but I still wanted to share some tried-and-true tips for snapping frame-worthy photos of your furry best friends.
