Hey there!
If you’re a part of a church, PTA, non-profit, or any other type of organization or group that fundraises from time to time, you probably know the dread that comes with trying to raise money. It can be hard (and awkward) at times to ask other people for donations.
If you’re trying to think of creative ways to raise money for a cause or initiative, consider experiences!
We love some of the ideas from donorbox.org:
- A movie night: Rent or borrow a projector and screen for the movie, sell tickets, popcorn, and other snacks to raise money.
- A trivia event: Sell tickets and snacks to collect funds, and buy or create your own trivia game for a fun-filled time!
- Arts, crafts, and baked goods fair: Invite members of the group to sell their handmade items or baked goods! A percentage of sales from each booth can go toward the fundraising effort.
If people can leave a fundraiser feeling good about how they supported a cause they care about and feeling happy about the fun memories they made, it’s a win-win.
And, of course, adding Photo Camper to any fundraiser can only add to the fun! Forward this email to someone you know who is in charge of fundraising!
XOXO,
The Photo Camper Team
